US/LHD first-generation 2013-2016 Scion FR-S, 2013-2020 Subaru BRZ and 2017-2020 Toyota 86 factory molded headliner donors only, narrowed to checked badge, production and overhead-equipment branches. Prove both VINs/builds, exact badge/model, production, trim/equipment, black shade, molded-board identity, curtain-airbag and pillar interfaces, visor/lamp/microphone or antenna openings, condition and written contents. Exclude 2022-up GR86/BRZ, non-US/RHD assumptions, cross-badge interchange without exact proof, and crushed, cut, wet, moldy, smoke-, pest-, fire- or flood-contaminated donors.

What you need to know

Start with both VINs/builds and photograph the label, entire face and backside, perimeter/edges, every opening and mount, curtain-airbag/pillar interfaces and all included pieces. Measure overall board and lamp/visor/opening locations. Itemize board, visors, handles, lamps, microphone/antenna pieces, wiring, clips, pillars and fasteners. Reject crushed or cracked edges, creases, detached fabric/foam, broken mounts, cut openings, water stains, mold, odor, pests, smoke, fire/flood evidence or hidden repair. Protect the board flat in oversized freight and require qualified curtain-airbag trim handling.

OEM numbers

CHECKED BADGE/TRIM IDENTITIES, NOT ONE UNIVERSAL 86-FAMILY BOARD. Toyota/Scion catalog branches include black headliner SU003-03319 for checked Limited/Standard applications and SU003-03318 for checked Base/High applicationsroof-headlining clip SU003-03320 and trim clip SU003-02969 are separate. A checked used Subaru path identified BRZ board 94415CA020VH. Visors, handles, lamps, microphone/antenna wiring, pillars, curtain-airbag clips, seals and hardware are not implied by a board number.

Supersession

No cross-badge supersession is asserted. SU003-03318 and SU003-03319 remain separate checked Toyota/Scion application branches, and 94415CA020VH remains a separately observed Subaru donor identity. Shared platform geometry does not prove badge, production, color/equipment, clip, wiring or loaded-overhead interchange.

Aftermarket options

Professional recovering can preserve the correct dry, straight factory board. Fabric-only kits do not correct a crushed board, wrong opening layout, broken mounts or incompatible curtain-airbag interfaces. Second-generation boards, universal panels and trim that obstructs restraint deployment are outside this guide.

Match both VINs/builds, FR-S versus BRZ versus 86 badge, production, exact board identity, overhead openings, curtain-airbag interfaces, actual condition and written contents.
