Method, not marketing
Trust is a publishing requirement.
Supersede is generated from a researched CSV. There is no hidden catalog and no hand-edited page that can drift away from its source row.
Availability
Buy paths are checked live. A catalog listing alone is not treated as guaranteed stock.
Publish
A row only goes public after both gates pass and its explicit publish flag is true.

Independence and methodology
Every public guide is generated from the canonical Supersede database and must clear identity, fitment, availability, and page-audit gates.

Research gate
An ordinary guide requires at least six useful research URLs across at least four independent domains. Supersede prefers OEM catalogs, manufacturer documents, service information, bulletins, recalls, and other primary evidence, then corroborates with independent catalogs, technical sources, and specialists.
Fitment and conflicts
Each guide is scoped to one buyer decision. Year, model, engine, transmission, drivetrain, trim, production-date, side, and exclusion distinctions are preserved when material. Conflicting authoritative evidence causes a hold or candidate replacement; it is not averaged away to reach a page target.
Seller checks
Seller pages are checked separately from research sources. Catalog presence and an Add to Cart button are not treated as guaranteed inventory. Pages distinguish explicit stock statements, ship-time language, backorders, discontinuation, active marketplace listings, and unchecked status. Prices are dated snapshots excluding tax and shipping unless checked.
Money and seller selection
Research conclusions and seller ordering are independent of commission relationships. Research citations cannot be monetized. Paid seller links, if ever activated, must be disclosed in the seller block and labeled individually.
Corrections
Credible correction reports are tested against the underlying evidence. Material corrections update the canonical row and audit trail. A guide may be removed from public view while a safety, fitment, or supersession conflict is unresolved.
