US/LHD 2005-2014 Ford Mustang S197 factory molded floor carpet or checked era-specific replacement carpet kits only, separated into 2005-2009 and 2010-2014 interiors and verified for Coupe/Convertible application, trim/color and equipment openings. Prove recipient production, body, factory identity or seller application, tunnel/console/seat/belt openings, backing/padding, color, condition and written contents. Exclude floor mats represented as molded carpet, 2015-up, non-US/RHD assumptions, structural floor repair and cut, wet, moldy, burned, pest-, smoke- or biohazard-contaminated donors.

What you need to know

Record VIN/build, 2005-2009 or 2010-2014 interior era, body, transmission/tunnel and trim color. Photograph labels, full top/underside, molded tunnel, seat/console/belt openings, rear riser, edges, backing/padding and every included piece. Itemize molded carpet, attached or loose jute/mass backing, insulation, retainers, clips and fasteners. New kits may arrive without pre-cut holes; transfer the original only as a template and cut small after in-car alignment. Reject unplanned cuts, melted areas, crushed/missing backing, water/flood stains, mold, odor, pests, smoke, biohazard or hidden floor repair; diagnose leaks first.

CHECKED ERA/COLOR/APPLICATION IDENTITIES, NOT ONE 2005-2014 CARPET. Early examples include 5R3Z-6313000-BB to 8R3Z-6313000-BE for one Dove branch, 5R3Z-6313000-BC to 8R3Z-6313000-BF for one Camel branch, and 7R3Z-6313000-AA to 8R3Z-6313000-AD for a checked equipment branch. Late examples include CR3Z-6313000-CA and CR3Z-6313000-CB. Checked replacement applications include ACC 12021-05-801, Automotive Interiors 23098-160 and Stock Interiors path 22633. Throw-in mats and retainers are separate.

Supersession

The checked Ford catalog records only branch-specific replacements such as 5R3Z-6313000-BB to 8R3Z-6313000-BE, 5R3Z-6313000-BC to 8R3Z-6313000-BF and 7R3Z-6313000-AA to 8R3Z-6313000-AD. It does not merge early/late interiors, colors, equipment contents or factory/aftermarket applications.

A checked era/body-specific molded kit may replace unusable factory carpet after tunnel, openings, color, backing and trimming review. Standard jute and optional mass-back configurations are not the same contents. Universal yardage, floor mats sold as carpet and material used to conceal corrosion are outside this guide.

Before you buy

Match interior era, body/application, color, tunnel/openings and backing from the actual product. Throw-in mats are not molded carpet; some new kits are intentionally uncut, so verify contents and preserve restraint/service openings.
