Fitment

2005-2009 only. Follow Ford leak testing for cowl grommets, seam-sealer skips, A-pillar weatherstrip retainers and body-harness grommets. Clean drains, dry/inspect connectors and junction box, and repair the leak before replacing electrical modules.

Aftermarket options

Checked OEM and aftermarket grommet/retainer paths plus Motorcraft seam sealer. The hood-to-cowl seal is a related weather seal but is not automatically the TSB leak source.

Before you buy

Ford TSB 08-26-7 covers 2005-2009 front-floor water leaks and multiple possible entry points. Leak-test first; do not assume a drain, cowl retainer or hood seal is the only cause. Repair and dry the car before condemning the junction box or other modules.
