S13 JDM Power Folding Mirrors

S13-family only: JDM S13 Silvia and 180SX; documented retrofit path for USDM S13 240SX. S14 and S15 are excluded and require separate research/pages.

What you need to know

Nissan-derived catalogs place these assemblies on S13 Silvia/180SX applications, not S14/S15. A documented S13 240SX community retrofit bolts the JDM assemblies in, but folding requires the fold-capable switch and added wiring; the cited installation describes 10 JDM harness wires versus seven stock USDM power-mirror wires. Connector and wire colors vary by donor year, so buy the switch and pigtails with the mirrors where possible.

OEM numbers

Verified S13 JDM examples, not universal all-year/all-color numbers: RH 96301-38F20 and LH 96302-38F20 are 180SX Type2 power-fold assemblies for 1991-01 through 1993-01. RH 96301-39F05 and LH 96302-39F05 are the following Type2 application for 1993-01 through 1994-01 and are identified as KH3 black in the S13 Silvia catalog. Cold-region parallels are RH 96301-47F05 and LH 96302-47F05. Later RPS13 production uses additional 39Fxx/47Fxx assemblies by date/specverify frame, production date, paint/spec, and connector. USDM power-adjust mirrors use separate non-folding numbers such as RH K6301-40F10 and LH 96302-53F05.

Supersession

No Nissan factory supersession chain is verified. EPC data shows a production/application transition from RH/LH 96301/96302-38F20 to 96301/96302-39F05 for 180SX Type2, with separate cold-region families. Treat these as date/spec variants unless a Nissan interchange record or VIN lookup confirms supersession.

Neither listing confirms a switch or pigtails. Checked switch-only paths were sold out and one was limited to a later connector/application.

Active used-market snapshots only. Confirm S13 donor year/spec, both connectors, wire count, motor operation, glass condition, RHD viewing angle, switch and pigtails. Do not assume mirror-only pairs include the fold switch or retrofit wiring.
