US/LHD 1990-1997 NA and 1999-2005 NB Mazda MX-5 Miata factory manually adjusted front-seat donors only. Prove recipient and donor generation, model year/build, left/driver versus right/passenger seat, both rail pieces, recliner, cushion/back/trim, upholstery/color or special-edition equipment, headrest/speaker state, buckle/interface, mounting hardware, actual labels/photos and written loaded contents. Start with both VINs/builds, NA versus NB, model year, left/driver or right/passenger seat, trim/upholstery/color and special-edition equipment. Photograph every visible label, the full pan and back frame, both rails and stops, recliner/hinge, headrest and speaker wiring, buckle/connector, floor feet and mounting holes. Compare both rail identities as a pair and itemize the seat shell/frame, cushion/back, upholstery, headrest, speaker, recliner, release cable, both rails, buckle, connector and mounting hardware. Reject bent, twisted, cracked or welded frames; cracked floor feet; seized, uneven or missing-stop sliders; stripped hardware; serious corrosion; crash loading; deployed/missing restraints; cut wiring; fire, flood, mold, pest, smoke, biohazard or unknown repair; and unavailable actual-piece photos. Use current Mazda seat, belt/SRS, battery and mounting procedures with qualified inspection/installation. No restraint bypass, structural repair or unsupported cross-generation conversion.

NA recliners are NA01-88-101C R and NA01-88-151C Lheadrest speaker 0000-81-024A-01 is order-by-application. NB 1999-2000 representative black complete seats are NC10-57-100D-02 R/passenger and NC10-57-150D-02 L/driver2001-2004 seats are serviced by components. NB 1999-2000 passenger track pair NA01-88-102A/NA01-88-103A and driver pair NC10-88-152/NA01-88-153A2001-2004 passenger pair N066-88-102/NC72-88-103 and driver pair N066-88-152/N066-88-153. Recliners split from NA01-88-101C R and NA01-88-151C L through 1999-2002 to N066-88-101 R and N066-88-155 L for 2001-2003, then N066-88-101A R and N066-88-155A L for 2004. Separate NB buckles are NC10-57-620-00 for 1999-2000, N066-57-680A-00 R for 2001-2004 and N066-57-620B-00 L for 2001-2004. Exact 2005 identities require current VIN/equipment catalog proof.

Supersession

The checked evidence establishes production and component branches, not a blanket supersession chain. The 1997 NA right inner adjuster is a distinct NA75 branch; 1999-2000 NB complete seats transition to component service for 2001-2004; 2001-2004 NB track and recliner identities differ from early branches. Do not interpret reused NA01 component numbers as complete NA-to-NB seat interchange. No 2005 suffix or seller-described 1999-2005 rail chain is asserted without current VIN-catalog authorization.
