Record both VINs/builds, NA/NB generation, production and transmission. Photograph the full top and underside, tunnel, seat/console/belt and fuel-access openings, molded edges, backing/insulation, rear bulkhead/package-shelf pieces and all labels. Itemize every carpet section, rear trim, backing/pads, clips and fasteners. Reject unplanned cuts, melted areas, missing/crushed backing, saturated foam, water/flood stains, mold, odor, pests, smoke, biohazard or hidden repair. Diagnose the leak/source before installing replacement material and keep restraint/fuel-access hardware separate.

CHECKED APPLICATION IDENTITIES, NOT ONE NA/NB OEM CARPET NUMBER. Moss 909-987 is a checked 1990-2005 loop molded-carpet path. Automotive Interiors 10697-162 covers a checked 1994-1997 four-piece passenger/curtain-donut/shelf application and 13196-260 a checked 1990-1993 six-piece application. Stock Interiors 10160 is a checked 1994-1997 passenger-area/rear-shelf application. Factory rear package tray example NC10-68-3F1E remains a separate NB trim identity, not proof that mats, molded carpet and rear trim are one assembly.Supersession

Aftermarket options
Generation-specific molded kits can replace unusable factory carpet only after tunnel/opening, section-count and trim-piece review; trimming is expected on some products but must not remove restraint or service access. Universal carpet yardage, floor mats sold as carpet and structural patch concealment are outside this guide.
