Start with the recipient 17-character VIN, US build month, Sedan versus Coupe versus Convertible versus Compact body, physical left/driver or right/passenger side, installed shell number where present and steel-versus-aluminum material. Sedan and Compact use separate framed-window shell families; standard Coupe/Convertible use the checked shared frameless shell pair, but their glass initial-tension adjustment and every attached part still require body/equipment confirmation.
