What you need to know

This is the lower forward/transverse arm, not the upper link or rearward compression rod. Decide whether the fault is the arm/bushing, the press-fit ball joint, or both. Match side, production date, ball-joint taper/seat, and hardware; align after replacement.

OEM numbers

Late checked transverse links: LH/driver 54501-AM602 and RH/passenger 54500-AM602. Early catalog references include 54501-AM601 and 54500-AM601. Aftermarket ball joints and bushings are service-component specific.

Supersession

The checked seller separates early 54501-AM601 from later 54501-AM602. No universal early-to-late substitution is claimed without VIN and taper/hardware confirmation.

Fitment

This is the lower forward/transverse arm, not the upper link or rearward compression rod. Decide whether the fault is the arm/bushing, the press-fit ball joint, or both. Match side, production date, ball-joint taper/seat, and hardware; align after replacement.

Aftermarket options

Checked complete OEM and Hayaku arms, separate Z1/DIY/Moog ball joints, and service bushings. A complete arm may not include the separate knuckle ball joint; read kit contents rather than assuming.

Before you buy

Confirm lower forward/transverse position, side, production date, ball-joint taper, and whether the arm includes bushings only or a ball joint. Upper arms and compression rods are different parts. Alignment and correct loaded-position torque matter.
