WHERE TO BUY

Open an exact listing, then confirm fitment, stock, price, and shipping with the seller before ordering.

Seller links checked . Prices and availability can change.

What you need to know

Diagnose fuse/relay, command, resistor/controller output, connector heat damage and blower current/noise. A dragging blower can overheat the controller. Match manual versus automatic climate and inspect the connector before ordering.

OEM numbers

Early manual-control resistor examples include aftermarket 973-444/BMR012 families. Later variable-speed controller reference 9L3Z-19E624-B. Confirm HVAC control type, production and connector.

Supersession

No resistor-to-controller supersession is claimed. A stepped resistor and electronic speed controller are different designs for different HVAC equipment.

Fitment

Diagnose fuse/relay, command, resistor/controller output, connector heat damage and blower current/noise. A dragging blower can overheat the controller. Match manual versus automatic climate and inspect the connector before ordering.

Aftermarket options

OEM controller, reman/rebuilt module, resistor-with-harness and blower motor paths exist. Match the control system and connector; replacing only a heat-damaged controller without checking the motor can repeat the failure.

Before you buy

Manual resistor packs and variable-speed controllers are different. Confirm HVAC equipment and production date, inspect connector heat damage, and test blower current/noise before replacing the controller.
