US/LHD 1995-1998 Nissan 240SX S14 factory instrument-panel/dashboard donors only. Prove recipient and donor VIN/build, S14 US/LHD body, production, black versus deep-blue color branch, pad identity, reinforcement/carrier, passenger-airbag module and lid state, ducts/vents, glove/cluster/knee/radio trim, brackets, harness paths, condition and written contents. Exclude S13, imported/RHD Silvia or 200SX assumptions, color conversions, deployed restraints, custom-cut panels and cracked, warped, collision-, fire- or flood-damaged donors.

What you need to know

Record both VINs/builds, US/LHD configuration, production and interior color. Photograph the dash label, full top and underside, defroster openings, mounting tabs, reinforcement, airbag opening/lid, duct and trim interfaces and every included item. Itemize pad, reinforcement, ducts/vents, glove box, cluster lid, knee/lower panels, radio/climate trim, brackets, harness and hardware; identify the passenger-airbag module separately. Reject cracks, UV warping, repaired or broken mounts, cut radio/gauge openings, deployed or missing restraints, collision loading, corrosion, fire/flood/mold/pest/smoke contamination or unavailable actual photos. Qualified SRS handling is required; no bypass guidance is provided.

OEM numbers

CHECKED US S14 COLOR-SPECIFIC IDENTITIES, NOT ONE GENERIC DASH. Panel and pad assembly 68200-72F00 is black68200-72F01 is deep blue. Matching checked passenger-airbag lids are 68290-70F00 black and 68290-70F01 deep blue. Instrument reinforcement 68132-70F00 is separately serviced. Cluster lid 68260-70F10 is replaced by 68260-70F20 in its checked production branch. Airbag module, glove box, vents/ducts, radio/climate trim, lower panels, harness and hardware are not implied by 68200.

Supersession

The checked catalog records 68260-70F10 to 68260-70F20 for the cluster-lid branch. It does not merge black 68200-72F00 with deep-blue 68200-72F01 or their matching airbag lids. Shared S14 mounting architecture does not authorize color, production, RHD/LHD or loaded-content substitution.

Dash caps and repair overlays address appearance, not broken mounts, carrier geometry or restraint interfaces. Exact-color factory donors or a professionally restored original may be compared only after LHD, production, structural condition and contents review. S13/RHD conversions, universal race panels and SRS bypasses are outside this guide.

Before you buy

Match US/LHD S14, both VINs/builds, production, black 68200-72F00 or deep-blue 68200-72F01, actual condition and written contents. The pad number does not include the airbag module, reinforcement, ducts, vents, glove/cluster/knee/radio trim, brackets, harness or hardware unless explicitly inventoried.
