What you need to know
Do not treat S13, S14, LHD, RHD, HICAS, and non-HICAS racks as universal. The checked K-Fab rack is an S13 non-HICAS design; its page says S14 use requires S13 rack bushings and S14 inner tie rods, which is a vendor-specific adaptation rather than an OEM interchange. The selected S13 LHD K-Fab option was unavailable. Verify VIN/rack application, steering side, inner tie rods, boots, lines, and core-return requirements.
OEM numbers
S13 rack/linkage: 49001-42F00 -> 49001-42F0149001-53F00 -> 49001-53F0149001-53F60 -> 49001-53F61. S14 rack/linkage: 49001-70F00 -> 49001-70F01. Rack bushings: Energy Suspension/aftermarket S13/S14/Z32 style kits.Supersession

Aftermarket options
Checked repair paths: Energy 7.10104 polyurethane rack-bushing kit; Advantage Steering refurbished S13 and S14 racks; K-Fab new S13 non-HICAS rack. The bushing kit contains three pieces but only two are used depending on chassis. Angle kits, rack spacers, and nonstandard tie-rod geometry require separate compatibility and warranty review.
Before you buy
Match chassis, LHD/RHD, HICAS status, rack number, inner tie rods, and lines. Advantage prices include a refundable $400 core deposit and require core return for warranty. The selected K-Fab S13 LHD option was unavailable. Vendor-specific S14 adaptation is not an OEM interchange claim.
