US 1989-1994 Nissan 240SX S13 Coupe or Fastback and 1995-1998 S14 Coupe factory rear-seat donors only, narrowed to checked body/trim branches. Prove both VINs/builds, S13 Coupe versus Fastback or S14, production, upholstery/interior code, cushion and backrest identities, folding/latch/striker geometry, frame/pad/trim, belt/buckle openings, condition and written contents. Exclude S13 Convertible, imported Silvia/180SX/JDM interchange assumptions, front/racing seats, restraint bypasses and bent, crash-loaded, fire-, flood-, mold-, pest-, smoke- or biohazard-contaminated donors.

Photograph labels, upholstery pattern/color, cushion underside, backrest front/rear, frame, hinges/pivots, latch/knob/striker points, belt openings and every included part. Itemize cushion, backrest sections, frames/pads/trim, head restraints, latches/knobs, strikers, buckles/interfaces and hardware. Reject bent frames, torn mounts, failed latches, missing foam, severe fading/tears, crash loading, corrosion, fire/flood/water evidence, mold, odor, pests, smoke, biohazard or hidden repair. Cleanliness does not prove structural/restraint suitability; preserve factory belt geometry and require qualified final inspection.

OEM numbers

CHECKED BODY/TRIM EXAMPLES, NOT ONE S13/S14 REAR SEAT. S13 Fastback back 88600-40F00 is replaced by 88600-40F05matching checked cushion example 88300-40F00. S13 Coupe color-C back 88600-42F01 is replaced by 88600-42F06matching cushion example 88300-42F01. Checked S14 examples include cushion 88300-65F65, black early back 88600-70F05, back frame 88601-65F00 and shared rear-seat striker 88642-35F00. Upholstery trim, foam, latch/knobs, head restraints where equipped, buckles/belts and hardware remain separately inventoried.

Supersession

The checked S13 catalog records 88600-40F00 to 88600-40F05 for one Fastback color branch and 88600-42F01 to 88600-42F06 for one Coupe color branch. S14 identities remain separate. Similar upholstery or mounting appearance does not authorize S13 Coupe/Fastback/Convertible, S14, US/JDM or color/production interchange.

Aftermarket options

Professional reupholstery may preserve a correct undamaged body-specific frame and foam. Imported/JDM fabric can be considered only as trim material after geometry and restraint interfaces are independently proven; a JDM listing is not US fitment evidence. Universal cushions, rear-seat deletes and fabricated latch/belt changes are outside this guide.
