First identify manual crank versus factory power, then physical RH/passenger or LH/driver. The Mazda collision catalog directly labels the manual branch 1999-2000; current dealer/seller catalogs sometimes broaden NC10-58/59-560F through 2002 or 2005, so later manual-window fitment is unresolved and requires VIN plus installed-number verification. The power regulator and motor are separate catalog pieces. Diagnose switch/wiring, connector, motor operation, cable/regulator damage, guides/bushings, glass alignment and binding before ordering. Secure the glass before regulator or motor removal.

Checked power-regulator service chains terminate at NC11-58-590G RH and NC11-59-590G LH; the current catalog lists NC11-58-590F and multiple NC11-59-590 revisions as replaced by the G suffix. Checked RH motor NC11-58-58X -> NC11-58-58XA. No manual-to-power, side-to-side or generation-to-generation supersession is claimed. NC10/NC11 here are NB service-number prefixes, not the third-generation NC chassis.
Fitment
First identify manual crank versus factory power, then physical RH/passenger or LH/driver. The Mazda collision catalog directly labels the manual branch 1999-2000; current dealer/seller catalogs sometimes broaden NC10-58/59-560F through 2002 or 2005, so later manual-window fitment is unresolved and requires VIN plus installed-number verification. Secure the glass before regulator or motor removal.
Aftermarket options
Checked choices include genuine manual regulators, genuine power regulator-only mechanisms, genuine power motors, Dorman 742-799 LH motor, specialist replacement regulators and guide/bushing service parts. Never infer that a listing called an assembly includes the motor, glass, switch, guide, mounting hardware or side-specific trim. Universal power-window conversion kits and NA/NC mechanisms are excluded.
Before you buy
Manual regulators are directly documented only for 1999-2000; later seller fitment conflicts, so a later manual-window NB requires VIN and installed-number confirmation. Power regulator-only mechanisms and power motors are separate pieces. Match RH/passenger versus LH/driver, connector and listing contents; diagnose switches/wiring, guides/bushings and glass binding before buying. NC10/NC11 are part prefixes here, not an NC-generation interchange. Secure the glass before service.
