2001-2005 BP6D only. Check oil level/viscosity/pressure, feed passages, wiring, OCV operation, cam sensor, actuator and mechanical timing separately before ordering.
OEM numbers
Checked oil-control valve BP6D-14-420Cchecked VVT actuator BP6D-12-4X0D. Earlier catalog revisions A/B are documented for the valve family.Supersession
BP6D-14-420A/B -> BP6D-14-420C is the checked valve path. BP6D-12-4X0D is the separate cam actuator, not the next valve revision.
Fitment
2001-2005 BP6D only. Check oil level/viscosity/pressure, feed passages, wiring, OCV operation, cam sensor, actuator and mechanical timing separately before ordering.
Aftermarket options
New OEM actuator/valve and used tested OCV paths exist. Do not fit VVT hardware to a 1999-2000 BP4W by catalog resemblance.
Before you buy
This is 2001-2005 BP6D VVT only. Low/dirty oil, wiring, sensor, feed restriction, actuator or mechanical timing can mimic an OCV fault; a code alone is not diagnosis.
