Identify NA6, NA8, NB1, or NB2 before buying. Separate the 1994-1995 ignitor/coil arrangement, later NA coil pack, NB1 plug-wire system, and NB2 coil-on-plug-era arrangement. MIA-0001 covers the NA CAS; MIA-0015 covers NB crank/cam sensors.
OEM numbers
Checked Mazda coil references include B61P-18-10XD for 1990-1993, shown replacing B61P-18-10XCBPE8-18-10XA for early 1994-1995 up to the cited VINand BPE8-18-10XC-9U for 1995-1997. Later NB coils must be selected by year and connector.Supersession

Fitment

Aftermarket options
Test power, ground, trigger, plugs, wires where fitted, and coil output before replacing parts. Use exact-year connectors and mounting. Magnecor and NGK paths are service alternatives, not proof that a coil is the failure.
Before you buy
A misfire is not automatically a coil. Check plugs, wires where fitted, power, ground, trigger, compression, and injector operation. The cited early-1994/1995 VIN boundary must be verified before ordering.
