Photograph all labels, entire face/backside, sunroof or normal-roof geometry, perimeter/edges, visor/grip/lamp/card-holder openings, pillar/curtain-airbag interfaces and every included item. Itemize board, visors, grips, lamps, front finisher, card holder, welt, fasteners, antenna/roof harness, pillars, clips and hardware. Reject creases, crushed/cracked edges, detached fabric, broken mounts, cut openings, water/flood stains, mold, odor, pests, smoke, fire or hidden repair. Use two people and do not bend the semi-rigid board; protect it flat in freight.

Professional recovering may preserve a correct dry, straight factory board. Fabric kits do not correct wrong roof/package geometry, permanent creases or broken mounts. Sedan/350Z/G37 boards, universal panels and trim that obstructs restraint deployment are outside this guide.
