Start with recipient and donor VIN/build, Coupe/Roadster, production, engine and climate-control equipment. Identify the separate blower, evaporator/cooling and heater/air-mix modules rather than treating heater box as one universal assembly. Compare firewall heater tubes and evaporator connections, condensate drain, duct joints, mounting tabs, blower/controller interface, temperature/mode/recirculation doors, actuators, sensors, harnesses and every seal/fastener. Require a written inventory of heater core, evaporator, expansion valve, blower motor/fan, controller/resistor, doors/actuators, sensors, drain, ducts, wiring and hardware. Reject cracked/warped housings, broken tabs, seized doors, kinked tubes, coolant or refrigerant-oil residue, corrosion, flood/fire exposure, mold, rodents, debris, odor or cut wiring. Preserve Z33-0038 external A/C ownership. Follow EPA refrigerant-recovery requirements, work only on a cold/depressurized cooling system and use qualified HVAC service.

A direct-replacement blower motor, heater core or evaporator can be considered only after the exact module and interfaces are identified; a component listing is not a complete case. Universal under-dash systems and unsupported whole-case swaps change ducts, controls, drains, wiring, coolant/refrigerant interfaces and crash/SRS-adjacent dash work and are outside this guide. Require lawful refrigerant recovery and current manufacturer procedures.

US/LHD 2003-2008 Coupe and 2004-2009 Roadster only, with 2009 Roadster confirmed by VIN/build.
