What you need to know

Three buyer branches exist: early halogen, early xenon/HID and late bi-xenon. Verify side, VIN/production date, connector and the lighting system already on the car; trim shorthand alone is unsafe. The late family begins at 08/2005 production. A bare late OEM bi-xenon lamp is not automatically plug-and-play on a factory-halogen car. A conversion-specific DEPO path exists with a 6-to-8-pin adapter harness, but its listing excludes xenon bulbs, ballasts and gasket, so those components still must be sourced. Delete the old "extensive modification" absolute. Do not claim actual JDM/RHD lamps are equivalent for LHD road use without beam-pattern and certification verification. The OEM source set covers US 2003-08; verify any 2009 Roadster/non-US application by VIN and market.

OEM numbers

Early halogen: RH 26010-CD025 -> 26010-CD026LH 26060-CD025 -> 26060-CD026. Early xenon/HID, production through 08/2005: RH 26010-CD085 -> 26010-CD027LH 26060-CD085 -> 26060-CD027. Late/facelift bi-xenon, production from 08/2005 and US MY2006-08: RH 26010-CF40A -> 26010-CF40BLH 26060-CF40A -> 26060-CF40B -> B6060-CF40D (some EPC views show CF40A or CF40B directly replaced by B6060-CF40D).

Supersession

Halogen chains: 26010-CD025 -> 26010-CD026 and 26060-CD025 -> 26060-CD026. Early xenon chains: 26010-CD085 -> 26010-CD027 and 26060-CD085 -> 26060-CD027. Late bi-xenon chains: 26010-CF40A -> 26010-CF40B; 26060-CF40A -> 26060-CF40B -> B6060-CF40D. There is no CD027 -> CF40A supersession chain; those are separate lighting/production families.

Fitment

Aftermarket options

For factory-halogen 2003-05 cars, Z1 lists an in-stock ANZO halogen pair that retains halogen bulbs. Z1 also lists a DEPO halogen-to-xenon conversion pair with a 6-to-8-pin harness; the DEPO page had price and Add to Cart but no explicit stock or ship-time phrase, and bulbs, ballasts, and gasket are not included. Do not treat JDM-style branding as proof that an actual RHD/JDM lamp is suitable for LHD road use.

Before you buy

Match side, production date and installed lighting system. CD027 does not supersede into CF40A. Factory-halogen cars require conversion-specific wiring/components. Do not treat JDM/RHD beam pattern as US/LHD equivalent.
