What you need to know
Separate purge valve, canister vent, charcoal canister, hoses, filler/cap and wiring. 2005-2009 capped and 2010-2014 capless architectures require year-specific diagnosis. PCV valves are not EVAP purge valves.

Checked purge paths: 4R3Z-9C915-AAMotorcraft CX-1980 early service, 7U5Z-9C915-F for checked 2007-2010 application, AU5Z-9C915-B replaced by AU5Z-9C915-EMotorcraft CX-2695 for checked 2011-2014 path. Vent solenoid example 9U5Z-9F945-C.Supersession
Ford catalog supports AU5Z-9C915-B to AU5Z-9C915-E and 7U5Z-9F945-E to 9U5Z-9F945-C. Early 4R3Z/7U5Z and later AU5Z paths are not treated as universal interchange.
