Record both VINs/builds, badge, production and spare/tool/audio layout. Photograph every identity, full top/back, edges, fold lines, backing and fastener points. Lay out and label floor mat/board, left/right trim, rear trim, spare/tool covers, clips and hardware. Reject missing sections, cut openings, frayed edges, crushed backing, water rings, flood residue, mold, odor, pests, smoke, fire, chemical or biohazard contamination. Correct trunk leaks before installation.
