US/LHD first-generation 2013-2016 Scion FR-S, 2013-2020 Subaru BRZ and 2017-2020 Toyota 86 2.0L factory resin fuel-tank shells. Resolve recipient and donor VINs/builds, badge-specific installed or current service identity, pump/sender opening and retainer layout, filler/vent interfaces, bands, protectors/covers/cushions and every seller-included component. Exclude 2022-up GR86/BRZ, non-US/RHD assumptions, racing cells, cut or modified tanks, unsupported cross-badge interchange and hazardous repair, cleaning or shipping claims.

What you need to know

Start with both VINs/builds, recipient badge and the installed shell/service number. Confirm the resin shell shape and all mounting lands; pump and sender opening count, diameter, indexing, sealing surface and retainer/ring layout; filler pipe, breather, vent and fuel-line ports; tank bands and bolts; protectors, cover, cushions, shields and every bracket. Bare, tank only, complete and assembly are not an itemized contents list: require written confirmation of pump/module, sender, filter/strainer, ring nuts/retainers, one-time seals, sub-tank/chamber parts, lines, filler/breather equipment, canister/EVAP equipment, bands, protectors and hardware. The 2018-2019 BRZ service material identifies a resin tank, threaded ring nut and one-time-use sealing parts; it does not make a seller-loaded donor universally compatible. Reject cracks, deep gouges, deformation, damaged openings/threads/ports, staining or seepage, heavy varnish/water/debris contamination, fire/flood/crash exposure, drilling, cutting, heat, welding, plastic repair, coating or unknown modifications. Fuel and vapor remain hazardous after draining. SEPARATE TOYOTA ATTACHMENTS: two SU003-01017 bandsprotector No.1 SU003-01050 -> SU003-10930protector No.2 SU003-01051 -> SU003-10931protector No.3 SU003-01052. SEPARATE SUBARU ATTACHMENTS: two 42017CA000 bands, 42054CA000 tank cover, 42045CA040 right protector and 42043CA000/42043YC031 cushions. A dismantler printing 42054CA000 next to 42012CA000 does not make the cover a tank identity. Pump/module/sender/seal identities SU003-07510, 42021CA010 and 42025CA001 remain ZN6-0030canister SU003-04502 remains ZN6-0024. Seller words complete and assembly do not prove those separate parts are present.

Supersession

The supported Toyota protector replacements are SU003-01050 -> SU003-10930 and SU003-01051 -> SU003-10931. No supersession is asserted between Toyota/Scion tank SU003-01013 and Subaru tank 42012CA000, and neither tank identity is a supersession for its bands, protectors, cover, cushions, pump, sender, seals, filler/vent equipment or EVAP hardware. Adjacent pump and EVAP chains stay on ZN6-0030 and ZN6-0024.

Aftermarket options

No direct-fit aftermarket factory-style tank shell was independently proven for this publication gate. A verified new badge-specific OEM shell or a clean used OEM donor is the bounded sourcing path. Racing fuel cells, altered fillers/vents, cut floors, fabricated mounts and emissions-system changes are engineered conversions outside this guide and must not be represented as direct replacements.
