E46 M54 applications only as supported by the checked sellers. A loose flap, worn pivot or damaged housing needs more than an O-ring. GAS 2.5L and 3.0L kits are different and its OEM-housing kits do not fit Rein, Dorman, Vaico or URO housings.
OEM numbers
Checked full genuine BMW DISA/intake adjuster 11617544805 for the vehicle applications listed by FCP Euro. German Auto Solutions rebuild kits are engine-size and housing-brand specific: separate M54 2.5L and 3.0L kits for OEM BMW housings. VIN and installed-housing confirmation remain required.Supersession
No universal chain is claimed. Full valve 11617544805 is a checked application path; rebuild-kit selection depends on M54 displacement and whether the installed housing is OEM BMW or a supported aftermarket brand.
Fitment
E46 M54 applications only as supported by the checked sellers. A loose flap, worn pivot or damaged housing needs more than an O-ring. GAS 2.5L and 3.0L kits are different and its OEM-housing kits do not fit Rein, Dorman, Vaico or URO housings.
Aftermarket options
Checked genuine BMW complete valve and separate GAS 2.5L/3.0L rebuild kits for OEM BMW housings. Inspect flap play, pivot retention, diaphragm operation and housing bore before choosing rebuild versus replacement. O-ring-only repair addresses an air leak, not mechanical wear.
Before you buy
VIN-check the full valve and match rebuild kit to engine size and installed housing brand. A new O-ring cannot repair a loose flap, worn pivot or damaged bore. Loose internal parts create ingestion risk. The M54 2.2/2.5 and 3.0 DISA units use different repair-kit variants. Repair kits also assume the original BMW housing is reusable; replace the complete unit if the housing or vacuum diaphragm fails inspection.
