Checked genuine BMW complete valve and separate GAS 2.5L/3.0L rebuild kits for OEM BMW housings. Inspect flap play, pivot retention, diaphragm operation and housing bore before choosing rebuild versus replacement. O-ring-only repair addresses an air leak, not mechanical wear.
Before you buy
VIN-check the full valve and match rebuild kit to engine size and installed housing brand. A new O-ring cannot repair a loose flap, worn pivot or damaged bore. Loose internal parts create ingestion risk. The M54 2.2/2.5 and 3.0 DISA units use different repair-kit variants. Repair kits also assume the original BMW housing is reusable; replace the complete unit if the housing or vacuum diaphragm fails inspection.
