US/LHD 1992-1999 E36 BMW 3 Series passenger cars and E36 M3 using factory plastic-composite halogen headlights; sedan, coupe, convertible and 318ti Compact share the checked assembly family. Verify E36 chassis/VIN on 1999 vehicles because E46 overlaps. E46, Z3, Touring, non-US and conversion optics are excluded.

What you need to know

Confirm E36 chassis/VIN, US/LHD factory plastic-composite halogen equipment, side, SAE/DOT markings, intact tabs/adjusters and separate HB3/9005 high plus HB4/9006 low connections. The checked headlamp family spans US E36 sedan, coupe, convertible, Compact and M3, but corner lamps remain separate body-specific parts. Euro/ECE/RHD projector lamps and their multi-pin or adapter wiring are not direct substitutes. Verify listing contents and have aim checked after installation.

US composite halogen assembly: left/driver 63121387861right/passenger 63121387862. Checked subcomponents include reflectors 63121387863 left63121387864 right, supporting frames 63121387865 left63121387866 right, HB3 high-beam bulb 63217160785, HB4 low-beam bulb 63217160786 and adjusting screw 63121387026. TYC direct replacements: 20-3668-00 left and 20-3667-00 right.

Supersession

63121468865 -> 63121387861 left; 63121468866 -> 63121387862 right. These are side-specific chains only; no US-to-Euro or halogen-to-HID interchange is claimed.
