Inspect the rear axle carrier panel and surrounding seams before ordering; reinforcement does not erase existing cracks or replace a structural repair plan. Plate installation requires rear-subframe removal, surface preparation, welding and corrosion protection. Select rubber/poly/solid bushings by exact model and intended NVH/track use.
OEM numbers
Turner weld-in E46 rear chassis/subframe reinforcement kit TDR4675412. Checked non-M genuine bushing paths include 33316770783 front-left and 33316770784 front-rightfull four-piece composition must be selected by model/VIN. E46 M3/Z4M uses different bushing numbers including 33312283573/574 and 33312283419. Revshift combo SBRC-E46-95A includes 95A bushings and weld-in plates.Supersession
No universal supersession. Non-M and M bushing sets differ. Reinforcement plates are aftermarket weld-in repair/prevention components, not BMW supersessions.

Checked Turner weld-in plate kit, non-M replacement bushing paths, track-oriented Revshift plate/poly combo and solid/Delrin race options. Stiffer mounts increase noise and load transfer; street and race paths are not interchangeable recommendations.
Before you buy
Inspect first. Weld-in plates require structural repair skill, corrosion protection and model-specific bushing selection. Non-M, M and race bushing sets differ; stiffer is not automatically better for a street car. BMW SIB 41 01 09 supports inspection of the E46 rear-axle-support mounting area; reinforcement scope still depends on actual inspection findings and repair method.
