Verify badge, VIN/model year, LHD, exact number, connector, complete motor-and-link versus partial listing, arm side, splines, cowl/clip/seal contents and damage. Diagnose the wiper fuse, relay, switch/control, connector, power and ground separately from motor park function, binding pivots/linkage, loose or stripped arm splines, incorrect arm/crank indexing and cowl, ice or debris interference. Mark arm positions, park the motor before attaching or indexing the crank or arms, keep driver/passenger arms separate, and verify a full on-glass sweep without cowl contact.

Aftermarket options

Checked new choices are OEM complete motor/link assemblies, arms and cowl pieces; checked used choices include exact-number OEM assemblies and cowls. No new aftermarket complete assembly was verified. A used listing must disclose exact number, connector, motor/linkage/crank contents, free-moving pivots, park operation, arm splines, cowl cracks/clips and return terms. Universal blades and cosmetic conversions are outside scope.
