First-Generation FR-S/BRZ/86 Rear Suspension Frames: Cradle Identity, Mounts, Geometry and Contents

Subaru bulletin 05-83-21 authorizes 901000378 -> 20058FL020 only for the four one-time rear-suspension-frame mounting bolts on applicable Japan-produced vehicles; it does not authorize using the new bolt in every other 901000378 location. No Subaru-to-Toyota arrow is asserted. Supports, stoppers, differential hardware, suspension links, sway bars and braces are separate equipment, not frame supersessions.

Start with the recipient VIN, badge and build, then require the matching Subaru or Toyota/Scion catalog identity and clear photographs of every mounting interface. Do not promote dismantler cross-listing of 20152CA000/001 with SU003-00349/10927 into an OEM cross-badge supersession. Bare, complete, cradle, K-frame and loaded have no dependable common contents: itemize frame bushings/stoppers, RH/LH side supports, differential mounts and hardware, upper/lower/trailing/toe links, eccentric hardware, sway bar/clamps/links, braces, shields, brake-line or parking-brake brackets and every bolt or captive nut. The Subaru four main frame bolts are one-time use under bulletin 05-83-21; order current hardware by recipient VIN and use current Toyota/Subaru procedures rather than copying a torque from seller text. Reject or obtain qualified structural review for bent pickup points, cracks, elongated or torn holes, crushed mounts, heavy scale, collision movement, filler, heat, non-factory welds or coatings that hide repair. Compare fixed-point measurements to current body/service data and inspect the vehicle-side floor and mounting points because a replacement cradle cannot correct body distortion.
